Ciao genova!

I'm in Genova! Woohooooooooo.
I've only been here for 3 days, but thought I'd write a little update to fill everyone in!
After an emotional goodbye, I left my lovely mummy to become a grown up in Italy. Pretty big deal means I should have a pretty well organised plan, right? No. I met Steff at the airport and we headed to a (kind of) nice hostel up a huge hill. We took a taxi.
That evening we met two super sweet French girls who we decided to team up with to find a flat...how spontaneous!

Pretty cool view!

The next day consisted of a lot of house hunting, a lot of Italian phone calls, a lot of confused looks (from me) and a LOT of walking. But things were looking pretty promising, so we decided to have a well-deserved Italian supper!

The next day was more househunting and more bloody stairs up a hill, butttt we signed for an apartment! It's got 4 great bedrooms (with TVs!), 2 bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen! Genova gals = winning at life. We got the keys there and then and Steff and I have moved in! Sadly, Sophie & Sophie have headed back to France to sort out uni stuff, so they'll come back at the beginning of October. They are amazing at Italian though, so it gives me time to practice!

My room!

(I've got photos to decorate..)

So, it's not the sea, but it's italian!

I've mooched a bit, but still haven't really got my bearings. The city is really pretty and so big, plus, I can see the sea!
