We had a fab time eating, drinking and chatting in her lovely house with her HILARIOUS family!
The next day was ballin' day. Amanda cooked us a top brekkie of bacon, eggs and toast. At lunch time we started the journey up to Leeds town. We had our plan all mapped out in our heads...today was going to be the most chic-est of days. New make up was being bought and posh houmous from M&S was being munched. So chic.
However - this plan took a little while longer than anticipated, giving us a whole 57 mins to get ready. I didn't think we could do chic in 57 mins, but we were bloody well going to try!
It was SO fun seeing everyone after what seemed like an age...and Leeds was actually sunnier than Bordeaux for the first time in history. Ever.
Once champagne had been served, ballin' and obligatory photo taking commenced!
Gals
Bywater's lucky day...
Probably should mention here that the theme was Arabian nights...
"My towel is chic right?!"
Blue Steel/confusion
Once the sun had gone down and it all started to feel a bit more northern, it was time for food. Holy crap the food was good. Sadly I ate it all before I could snap some pictures..but there was a hog roast, yummy cous-cous salads and masses of houmous. Literally couldn't have been yummier. Except it got yummier when I found out there was carrot cake for pudding. LIFE=MADE.
(said yummy rather a lot there. but it was all yummy.)
A lot of people are probably thinking that I just turn up to OTC so that I can wear a pretty dress and eat some free food. That's partly true...
But it's also kinda fun when this happens:
The rest of the evening was filled with happy snapping and cheap drinks...we started off chic:
Blue steelin'/giggling...
Zero chic points
That was definitely where the chicness ended for me. And coincidentally where my happy snapping ended! Convenient.
Ohhhhhhitwasjustsomuchfunnnnnnnnnnnn!!
